Music is an important part of setting the vibe and ambiance for your 4th of July party. Music provides a subconcscious cue that this is going to be a good time. When guests walk through your door, hear the tunes and start bobbing their heads, you’re on your way to having a great party!
I’ve started creating my 4th of July cookout playlist and would love your feedback and suggestions!
Here’s what I have so far: Walking on Sunshine – Katrina & The Waves, Soak up the Sun – Sheryl Crow, Sittin on the Dock of the Bay – Otis Redding, Sweet Home Alabama, Island in the Sun-Weezer (amazing, you’ll want to check this one out!), Groovin – The Rascals, Under the Boardwalk-Drifters, Moondance– Van Morrison, Margartiville– Jimmy Buffet, and Heat Wave – Martha & the Vandellas.
Suggestions… what would you add?
Be sure and check out the “Jeresey Dawg” recipe from our Taste-Bud in the comments section under the June 30th post on the All-American Hot Dog. Steve, it sounds so amazing! Definetly getting added to my cookout menu. thanks!
