It was so cold this weekend that my tastebuds were craving something comforting, but not heavy. It’s only the end of August so I’m not ready to move into winter food but I did need something creamy and satisfying. Well, this little pasta dish filled the bill perfectly!
I found this recipe stashed away in my “Must-try Recipe” file. It’s from a 2008 issue of Cuisine at Home magazine. Yes, my file is rather large! Anyway, it’s a fantastic recipe with lots of creamy, bacon-laced sauce that will satisfy any foodies palate. Topping the pasta with the tomato, broccolini salad puts the taste and appearance over the top amazing! My husband raved about it all weekend. Always a great thing! I highly recommend this recipe. Just add a warm baguette to soak up every bit of the sauce. I paired with a Copola Chardonnay to match the creaminess. Excellent! Click here for the recipe. Enjoy!
