Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. It’s all about gathering family & friends and creating memorable experiences with great food, and great wine – what could be better than that?!
Let’s start with a couple tablescape ideas – we eat with our eyes first so this is an important detail. If you’re serving your yummy Thanksgiving dishes family style on your dining table, keep your tablescape simple allowing the serving dishes and food to be the centerpiece. Add a few unscented candles in votive containers and a few mini pumpkins – simple and beautiful!
If you like to plate your Thanksgiving meal and bring it to each guest, you need a dramatic centerpiece like this one. For a rusitc look – take a rough board and place candles, varying the size and height and between the candles place real fruit like; red & green grapes, clementines, gourdes, bittersweet would be nice as well.
Serving Buffet Style is one of my favorite ways to serve Thanksgiving for a large group of people. It allows me to showcase the food on my beautiful White Serveware Collection. I like to be creative by adding height with pedestals, flowers, and fruits. By serving the food on my sideboard or kitchen island, I’m able to sit more pe0ple at my dining table and create a cozy gathering!
