I was looking for some fun, yummy, new breakfast ideas for our upcoming 4th of July weekend soiree so I pulled out my favorite cookbooks - the Barefoot Contessa series of 7 cookbooks. Yes, I’m a serious Ina Garten fan!
She has so many great ideas to choose from; country french omelet, easy sticky buns, homemade granola bars, strawberry scones, orange yogurt with homemade granola, scrambled eggs with roasted asparagus, frittatas, and … Medjool Date Nut Spice Bread! What a perfect accompaniment to breakfast and our cabin guests can enjoy a slice with their first cup of coffee. Now that’s my kind of way to start the day!
This is a great recipe to add to your weekend entertaining menus - it’s so easy, you can make it ahead of time, freeze it, and serve it when you need it. Too fun! Click here for recipe. Thank you Ina for your inspiration!
