One of my favorite wines for fall. I love the delicious warming spice of Shiraz balanced with the ripe blackcurrant flavors of Cabernet, hmmm, so delicious. This smooth, medium bodied wine is perfect to pair with pasta, lamb, or duck. It’s also lovely paired with a fall cheese platter featuring an aged cheddar, a creamy blue cheese, and a double cream brie. Garnish your platter with some fresh blackberries and cocoa almonds and you have a company worthy appetizer! Price is under $10 – really a bargain!
I love to pair this wine with my favorite pasta dish – Pesto Pasta. It’s a really lovely pairing that any palate will enjoy.
