A facebook message from my son last night: “Megan and I had French Dips last night – the recipe was super easy!
All it was was deli roast beef, 2 cans of Campbells Beef Consome’, two shallots, and some butter, and flour.

Dillon’s French Dip Sandwiches
Deli Roast Beef slices
Campbells Beef Consome – 2 cans
Shallots – 2, minced
Butter – 2 Tblsp.
Flour – 1 1/2 Tblsp.
McCormics Montreal Steak Seasoning
Swiss Cheese slices
3. Slowly whisk in the beef consome’, and bring it to a simmer for 5-10 mins.
4. Lay out all of your roast beef and season with McCormics montreal steak seasoning. (The recipe didnt call for this but I took the roast beef and put it into the aus Ju for a few mins before I made the sandwich).
5. I then took a couple hoagie buns with swiss cheese and made the dips! SUPER YUMMY!! Next time I think I may add a small yellow onion to the shallot saute too.
