Ingredients Amount
Green Cabbage, shredded 6 cups
Carrots, shredded 4 large
White Onion, finely chopped 1 medium
Red Pepper, chopped 1
Sugar 1 cup
Vinegar 1 cup
Canola Oil 1/2 cup
Water 1/2 cup
Kosher Salt To Taste

1.  Mix sugar, vinegar, canola oil, water and salt.  Stir until sugar is dissolved.
2.  Pour over the chopped vegetables and let stand overnight.
