Deconstructed Caprese Salad

Caprese Salad

Ingredients Amount
Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, multicolored, cut in half 1 pint
Fresh, baby mozzarella balls in marinade, cut in half 1/2 pint
Red onion, cut into small dice 1/4 cup
Fresh basil leaves, julienned 1⁄2 cup
Kosher salt & Unleash Your Inner Foodie Tuscany Pepper Blend to taste To taste
Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1/4 cup
Aged Balsamic Vinegar 2 Tblsp.

Place the tomatoes, mozzarella, onions in a medium white bowl.  Pour olive oil and balsamic vinegar over and toss.  Add basil leaves, toss again.  Season with salt & pepper.   Taste and adjust seasonings and oil/vinegar if necessary.  Garnish with a few large basil leaves.   Enjoy!
