Festive Cheeseball

Ingredients Amount
Cream Cheese, softened 2 – 8oz. pkg
Shredded Cheddar Cheese 1 – 10 oz. pkg
Green pepper, finely chopped 2 Tblsp.
Onion, finely chopped 2 Tblsp.
Red pepper flakes Dash
Kosher salt Dash
Pimento, finely chopped 2 Tblsp.
Lemon juice 2 tsp.
Walnuts, finely chopped 1 cup

Directions:

Combine cream cheese and cheddar cheese and mix until well blended.  Add onion, green pepper, pimento, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and salt, mixing well.  Place in small mixing bowl, shaping it into a mound.  Chill until firm (overnight).  Shape mixture into a ball and roll into the finely chopped walnuts.  Place in center of tray and surround with Town House crackers ( use your favorite cracker, we of course, can not deviate).  The cheese ball will keep for a couple of weeks if refrigerated.
