Grilled Apricots (with Bittersweet Chocolate and Almonds)

Serves 6. Part of the Smokey Fiery BBQ Party.

Ingredients Amount
Fresh Apricots, halved and pitted 12
Canola Oil 1 tblsp.
Bittersweet chocolate, melted 2 ounces
Freshly ground black pepperM 2 tsp.

Directions:

  1. Heat grill to high.
  2. Brush the apricot halves on both sides with the oil and grill cut side down for 2-3 minutes until slightly charred. Turn them over and grill for 1-2 minutes until just heated through.
  3. Divide the apricot halves among 6 bowls. Drizzle each serving the melted chocolate and sprinkle with almonds. Yummy!
