Onion, Thyme & Goat Cheese Tarts

Makes 8 Individual Tarts

Ingredients Amount
Unsalted Butter 4 Tblsp.
Onions, thinly sliced 2 cups
Garlic gloves, minced 2
Fresh Thyme Leaves, chopped 1 Tblsp.
Puff pastry dough, thawed 12 oz.
Goat Cheese log 8 oz.
Sea Salt & Unleash Your Inner Foodie Tuscany Pepper Blend to taste

1. Melt the butter in a medium skillet over low heat. Then add the onions, garlic and thyme. Saute for 20-25 minutes, until the onions are golden. Season with salt & pepper.
2. Unfold the pastry dough and form to a rectangle. Cut the dough into 8 piece squares.
3. Divide the onion mixture between the pastry squares, leaving a thin border. Cut the cheese into 8 slices and place one on top of the onions.
4. Transfer the pastry squares to a large baking tray and bake in a preheated 425 degree oven for 12-15 minutes. The dough will rise and should be golden in color.
5. Cool slightly and serve.
