Thanks for checking out Unleash Your Inner Foodie. The blog that helps you create memorable experiences for your family and friends through great food and great entertaining ideas!
I’m DeeAnn McArdle, founder of Unleash Your Inner Foodie. After spending 20 years in the corporate world I came to the realization that my inner foodie was trapped in my corporate body! I found myself dreaming of recipes and entertaining ideas instead of focusing on my work projects. I was the one sharing and asking my coworkers what they cooked over the weekend. I wanted to know how they used great food and great entertaining to create memorable experiences for their family and friends. You might say, I became obsessed… although I prefer to think of it as my passion!
Anyway, I decided it was time to share these great ideas with other foodies and “foodie wanna-be’s” who may be looking for a little more inspiration, and discovery into the foodie lifestyle.
I hope you’ll join me on my blog where together we’ll discover ways to create memorable experiences for your family and friends.
Stay tuned and I look forward to talking with you soon!

Deeann,
You’ve managed to do it again. You’ve (very successfully and effectively) transferred your skills, ideas and organization from the daily grind of corporate america over to the personal side of life (entertaining with style). In doing that, you’ve tapped into an unmet need for ordinary american foodies and have figured a way to deepen our epicurious experiences without needing a degree from the CIA (Culinary Institute of America). Bravo and keep the ideas and momentum flowing. You’ve got lots of fans.
Deeann,
Congrats on the NBC spotlight! While I too am a “foodie wanna be” I enjoy most reading your blog as I can hear you in my mind speaking as softly as you do, with a smile on your face making another wonderful life experience! Awesome job- I wish I lived closer!

Thank you for the great app’s – you have saved me once again! This Blog is incredible.
I love your website and allllllllll the wonderful information! What a great tip with the garlic bread, using Christmas cutouts. I can’t wait to show that off, better yet I can’t wait for my grand daughter to help me. She will think she is becoming a gourmet cook! Your number one “taste bud”!
