Frei Brothers Reserve Chardonnay
It’s Spring, Easter is three days away, and it’s going to be 78 degrees in Minnesota! So naturally, I’m craving a nice buttery Chardonnay…
The Frei Brothers Russian River Valley Reserve Chardonnay is one of my favorites. It’s soft yet complex. The 2007 Reserve Chardonnay is a big and intense wine with lighter pear and peach flavors melded with citrus, lemon and a little toasty oak. So Yummy!
The 2008 Reserve Chardonnay reflects its cool climate source with flavors of green apple, orange zest, which are complemented by buttery and toasty notes. Nutty and rich, this wine finishes with a silky, full mouthfeel. Both of these would be great choices to accompany your Easter dinner. I know they’ll be served at my house! Enjoy!
