Is my all time favorite wine! Could be that it’s the only “cashmere” I can afford – but seriously, it’s amazing. We all know that Cashmere evokes quality, luxuriousness, and something that is a labor of love to produce. Well, this wine definitely lives up to its luxurious name.
The vintner describes this fabulous wine as “utterly charming and without pretense that caresses your palate”. Ahh… Cashmere is a blend of Mourverdre, Syrah, and Grenache and I find it to be extremely food friendly. It has a soft, dry finish with a taste of lively blackberry fruit that’s well centered and a well structured finish with a hint of chocolate. This luxurious wine is under $20 and would be a great bottle to enjoy with your sweetie on Valentines Day! I plan on pairing it with some great chocolate like a B.T. McElrath Salty Dog chocolate bar and a Green and Blacks 85% Dark Organic chocolate bar. Yummy!
Here are some of the Cline Cashmere Accolades:
